Terms of Service

1. Service

Aethyr AI, Inc. ("Aethyr", "we") operates the Aethyr Agent Registry ("Service"), a credential issuance platform for AI agent identity. By registering an agent or using the Service, you ("Operator", "you") agree to these terms.

2. Registration and Payment

Registration requires accurate operator information and payment via Stripe. Credentials are issued after successful payment. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Subscription tiers (Verified, Attested) renew monthly until cancelled.

3. Operator Responsibilities

You are responsible for the actions of agents registered under your identity. You must:

• Provide accurate operator information
• Safeguard your API key
• Revoke credentials for agents that are decommissioned or compromised
• Not register agents for illegal purposes

4. Credential Validity

Credentials are valid for the period specified at issuance (typically 1 year for Basic tier). Aethyr may revoke credentials that violate these terms or applicable law. Operators may self-revoke at any time using their API key.

5. Verification

The verification library (@aethyrai/ssi-verify) is provided under the MIT license. Verification is performed locally by relying parties. Aethyr does not guarantee that any third party will accept a credential.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Aethyr is not liable for damages arising from credential misuse, verification failures, or service interruptions.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the email address on file.
